See Miss Woods after school
‘Lisa Berry.’ Called out Mrs Matthews as she arrived outside her classroom where the boys and girls were waiting for their next lesson.
‘Yes Miss.’ Called Lisa waving her hand in the air.
‘Ah there you are; Miss Woods would like to see you in her room after school.’
‘Righto Miss’ Replied Lisa cheerily.
‘Wonder what that’s about?’ She said turning to Karen.
‘Lisa, are you that dumb?’ replied Karen.
‘Don’t know what you mean.’
‘Yes you do, it’s about you calling the head girl names.’
‘Oh that, she wouldn’t say anything.’
‘Wanna bet.’ Said Karen as they walked into the classroom.
‘Yeah, this week’s pocket money.’ Said Lisa confidently.
‘You’ve just lost.’ Laughed Karen as they sat at their desks.
‘Alright, stop talking you two.’ Said Mrs Matthews.
The lesson got under way and Lisa soon forgot about seeing Miss Woods until school ended of the day.
‘I’ll come and wait outside for you.’ Said Karen as her and Lisa packed their satchels with homework.
Then they went off to see Miss Woods.
‘Come in.’ Called Miss Woods.
Lisa entered and went over to stand in front of Miss Woods’ desk. Immediately her eye fell on the white plimsoll sitting on the desk.
‘Ah Lisa Berry, yet again.’
‘You wanted to see me Miss.’ Said Lisa with her hands behind her back.
‘Yes Lisa I did. I don’t know what to make of you, I really don’t.’ Sighed Miss Woods sitting back in her chair.
‘Miss?’ Queried Lisa.
‘You know why you’re here don’t you?’
‘No Miss.’
Miss Woods sighed again.
‘Lisa, the head girl has reported to me that you called her some unpleasant things. Is that true?’
‘No Miss, well not exactly.’
‘And what is that supposed to mean, either you did or you didn’t, which is it.’
‘Yes I did but not directly. I said it to myself but she overheard me.’
‘That Lisa is irrelevant, you cannot go around calling the head girl a stuck up cow and expect to get away with it; it’s no different to saying it to a teacher, you must respect people in authority.’ Said Miss Woods firmly.
‘I know Miss and I do but she keeps picking on me.’ Insisted Lisa.
‘Perhaps that’s because she has good reason. You and I know that you can be a stubborn and obstinate girl who resents being told what to do and how to behave.’
‘I’m only like that if I think I’m right and they’re wrong.’ Said Lisa.
‘Oh dear Lisa, I despair of you sometimes. You’re not in a position to decide who is right and who is wrong; you’re a schoolgirl and you must learn to do as you are told, especially if you want to keep out of trouble.’
‘I do try Miss.’
‘But you don’t try hard enough and I have to get you to do as you are told.’
‘Yes Miss.’
Lisa was beginning to fidget. She knew by the fact of the slipper on the desk that she was going to get it, why is this conversation going on.
‘So what am I going to do with you? You can consider yourself fortunate that it wasn’t a teacher that heard you otherwise you would now be standing in front of the headmistress. I could still send you there if I felt it necessary. How would feel about that?’
‘Oh no Miss, please don’t do that, I’m really sorry.’ Grovelled Lisa in a panic.
‘No, I’m not going to but be warned if anything like this happens again then that’s where you’ll go, is that absolutely clear?’
‘Yes Miss, thank you.’
‘You must understand that I can’t go on protecting you from yourself forever.’
‘I know Miss, I will try harder from now on, I promise.’
‘Promises are hard to keep Lisa, think carefully before you commit yourself.
‘Yes Miss I will.’
Miss Woods then stood up and picked up the slipper.
‘You realise what I have to do now don’t you?’
‘Yes Miss.’ Said Lisa sadly as she looked down at the floor.
‘I hate having to do this Lisa, it upsets me but I have no choice. You know what to do,’
As Miss Woods walked round the desk Lisa stepped forward and bent right over the desk. To her horror she then felt Miss Woods pull up her skirt and slip. Her stomach started to churn over as she realised Miss Woods meant business.
WHHAAAPP!!
Lisa let out a loud gasp as the pain took her breath away.
WHAAAPPP!!!
‘Ooooowww’
Miss Woods was aiming for roughly the same spot each time to maximise the sting.
WHAAAAPPPP!!!
‘Oooooowwww Miss.’ Cried Lisa.
Her previous slipperings from Miss Woods bore no resemblance to this one.
WHHAAAPPP!!!
‘Aaaaagghhh’
Lisa now started crying.
WHAAAPPP!!!
‘Yeeeeoooowww’
WHHAAAPPP!!!
‘Aaaaaggghhh’
Miss Woods stepped back and waited a few moments.
‘Right Lisa, you can get up now.’ She said as she walked back behind her desk and replaced the slipper. Lisa stood crying and trying to wipe her eyes on the back of her hand.
‘Borrow my hankie.’ Said Miss Woods taking it from her tracksuit pocket.
‘Thank you.’ Snivelled Lisa.
‘So Lisa, if you want to avoid a repeat of that, behave in future.’
Yes Miss.’
‘Off you go then.’
Lisa walked to the door with her bottom on fire.
‘Crikey Lisa, what was that?’ gasped Karen.
‘Oh Karen she really hurt me, I didn’t think she’d ever do that to me.’ Cried Lisa with tears still streaming down her face.
Karen put her arm round Lisa.
‘I did warn you didn’t I.’
‘And now I owe you a week’s pocket money.’ Said Lisa.
‘Don’t be daft; I don’t want your money.’ Said Karen. ‘Come on let’s get you out of here.’
