Poem: The Scales of Submission

This was written about 3 weeks ago (and tinkered with a bit since then) mainly because I get messages all the time from girls and some guys who want to know what the "rules" are. They do not realize the weight of a D/s relationship and rather than try and wade through the muddy waters of something rarely agreed upon, I wrote!
Please tell me what you think, but I am not posting this to start a war on what submission is to anyone else, this is my answer to those people seeking my counsel:

The Scales Of Submission
I am A submissive,
Not your “whipping girl”
Yes!
Hear me roar.
Not with vanity nor arrogance,
But helpless against the ferocity of it,
Should the depth or breadth of my heart be questioned.

I am a sub,
Obedient, loyal and true.
I will give and give not to, rather FOR only you.
Always faithful,
Trusting
True.
If you cut me open I bleed with Your blood as my own.

I am a sub
I offer you unquestioningly
The peace you crave,
The comfort you need,
The pleasure you desire is yours to
Take.
I am yours to bend to your will and every whim.

I am a submissive,
Laid prone as I give of myself for you to take,
Body
Mind
Soul
There, forever waiting patiently,
Your own beck and call girl.

I’m submissive,
Did you pay attention to me
What I said, what I did
For you?
When I go that extra mile in attempt to please you
Did you notice
Do you see me, or did you take because you could?

I am a sub.
You are worthy,
Yes?
If my soul is not fed my light dims.
Praise me, when I earn it,
Let me know I’m a good girl for you
Don’t be a hypocrite,
Expect nothing less of yourself than you ask of your girl!

I AM a submissive.
I have needs.
The fastest way to lose me is taking, because you can.
If you want all of me,
I have to choose you,
Over and Over again.

I AM A SUBMISSIVE.
I am a lady.
I am human.
Ask yourself
If you want an ass to spank
OR
Do you understand the massive responsibility
That it takes to be a Dom?
Can you hold your sub’s heart in your hand?
Do you REALLY want to nurture and care?
Can you handle being held to a higher standard than men?
Are you really a Dom?

I am a submissive.
I am loved above all
My light shines as a beacon to that love
Yes, my soul is full
And I will give every ounce of me
because I am appreciated and cherished.
I am owned because I am loved.
I am His sub.

Precisely my point, G, and thank you. I cannot comment upon anyone else's views of submission - purely my own. what's right for one isn't for another, but it's a partnership, or at least it should be. Without that, there's no power exchange, just abuse.
